1982 Sport Coupe to Iroc clone
ok i know this is a beat down post, my only major question is since the 82 -84 i belive it was was a diffrent style. I may have my facts COMPLETLY WRONG and if i do i am very very sorry. i am new to these cars as im sure you can tell... I digress...
Can i make my 82 SC an iroc clone (all i care about are the GFX to tell you the truth, you can keep your stickers ) i know i need the front and rear bumpers and the rockers... is trhat all i need or are my fenders and what not diffrent?
Thank you in advance, and if you must flame, flame and then let alone, please dont beat a dead horse

Front and rear bumpers need replacing, you can drill screws into the fenders for the rockers the rear rockers you drill holes into the body but you need to line things up pretty well before you start drilling or once you put the rear ground effect on it wont look right. The side rockers need screws drill in like I said AND to be a good job need to have this bar from a iroc cut off and welded onto your sport coupe so the rocker can attach to it, it runs the length of the door...I didnt use it on my sport coupe tho.
front fenders are identical minus a few holes which can be drilled easily.
All in all grab a set of ground effects drill some holes and screw some screws and youll be set, line things up and if you want a really good job cut off and weld on the rocker support bar from an iroc.
Good Luck

I paid 75 bucks to strip a car that was going to the bone yard in the next state. A buddy with a pickup had the day off and lent me a hand. I took the ground effects full interior i mean everything form the interior of a nice condition grey and black interior along with grid taillights front rear bumpers coolant tank DOORS with wiring for electric locks/windows a front fender headliner carpet steering colum and grant racing steering wheel & I cant even remember what else but it was a SCORE!
