I need a measurement

Does anyone have a measurement for drilling the holes to mount the rear quarter ground effects? My buddy put new quarters on his car and they came without the mounting holes. My Camaro is parked about an hour away so i can't measure mine. It's an '86 Iroc but i don't know if that matters for the hole location.

If anyone could get a measurement for both holes from the bumper forward and the bottom of the quarter up i'd appreciate it. Image attached in case my description sucked.

Re: I need a measurement

Can't he just measure the fx pieces & use those measurements to locate the holes correctly?

Re: I need a measurement

I thought that also but after i went over to do it for him it's probably possible but drilling holes wrong is more of a possibility. With the curve of the quarter and the part it's a guessing game since the screws make it sit so far away from the panel when trying to mark it. It doesn't help that he already reinstalled the bumper since paint was done. If the bumper was off it would probably be easier also.

I might be able to do it the way you suggested but i don't have anything to compare the up and down to. The left to right would be simple. If i don't get any measurements i'll try it the way you posted.

Re: I need a measurement

I've got a set of the fx pieces to measure, but that would just give you the same #s you can get yourself.

Re: I need a measurement

Same here, i actually have a set in front of me right now. I could probably oversize the holes a bit if i don't get the up and down right the first time. The side to side is no problem.
