1991 Camaro RS lower door trim

First time poster, found this site by recommendation. I have already found some very useful information on here. Now to my question: does anyone know if there is an aftermarket company that makes and sells RS lower door trim for a 1991 Camaro? I am specifically looking for the drivers door trim, and learned that GM has no more in stock. There are plenty of GM right side door trim in stock (go figure). I broke my drivers door trim in 2 pieces loading the car on a trailer. If no suggestions on locating new trim, maybe someone has tried repairing them successfully?

Re: 1991 Camaro RS lower door trim

I need one for my right side door, it was snapped like yours (car's riding on the ground and girlfriend opening door + curb = ouch).

From what I can see, it seems the things are held on with screws only connected right to the door, so maybe your best bet is to hunt around for an old junker Camaro same color as yours and see if you can take the trim off of the door. I'm sure GM's thing is overpriced anyway.

I don't know how the 91 differs from the older ones but I think it's probably made out of SMC and a repair is very possible. http://urethanesupply.com/ has a lot of good howto repair info on their site.
