Engine: 1 peice roller scat 383 4 BOLT!!
Transmission: 5 speed
Axle/Gears: 3.42
need 91 burgandy code

i have a 91 firebird, but the owner was retarded and i dont have a paint code.

here is a couple pics of the car, please help me out here.

Looks like your car used to be red. If thats the case it could be just about any color of burgundy. Any color! 1968 AMC Burgundy, 1976 Ford burgundy, something someone threw together burgundy. But all is not lost. Call an autobody store in your area. If you have a part you can take to them, like the fuel door, they can make you some paint to match.

Looks like the color on my iroc. Mine is a dark red metallic. Code is 74Q. Dont know if they used the same color on the firebirds.

its was "flame red metallic" up untill 1990, then in 1991/92 it was renamed "brilliant red metallic", same color, different name and code. i just sprayed my car (1991) that color, be sure to mix the cup on the gun ALOT while spraying or it'll look golder than its supposed to because the gold flake will settle in the bottom of the cup.

this is the post i got my color code from and it was correct:


"The Paint code 75 (WA9540), Brilliant Red Metallic, an original color in 1991."

thanks for the input, i def know its a factory paint job.
and thanks for the tips
btw, it was an unmolestered untouched all orignal formula, then a phsycopath did $8000 damage and wrote it off with a sign post while i witnessed it from a bar's patio
i got 2000 back, and the car is a salvage. stealing vin's here i come
