3rd gen Body kits

I was wondering where could I get body kits for a 3rd gen camaro. I really like the Evoluzione Evo II Kit but I can't seem to find anything. This is a very sick body kit. any info on it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 3rd gen Body kits

The Evo kit isn't available new last I heard. The rumor is only 50 kits were ever produced and K1 sold off the molds 2005ish. Euroworks was the last retailer to sell them. I bought mine from American Speed. In short they are rare and obsolete. There are a couple completed cars for sale, finding an unistalled kit will be a challenging search.

P.S. The F-Body purists on this sight will flame you for considering this. The couple of us that have done it are used to it by now.

I'm not a purist, and I think it looks pretty cool, but, if you want a car that looks like an import, why not buy an import?

Thank you... In any case the kit thing is cool, but as the other members have said theyre hard to find they look pretty sick tho. Body kits on our cars are alot more difficult to find, and pull off than they would be on say an import

Re: 3rd gen Body kits

A ferrari? It looks like a mitsu eclipse. Have you ever seen a REAL ferrari up close? The attention to detail and sheer beauty of a true exotic sports car, even from the 80's, is unmistakeable. To compare that kit to a ferrari is a bit much, don't you think. The kit makes the car look like an import, not an exotic. Any real car enthusiast would realize right away that its a kit car. Its not even modeled after an actual car. What year/model car is that supposed to be? I'm not a purist either, but if I was to build a kit car, I'd at least have it modeled after an ACTUAL production car. I've seen more than a handful of kit cars (I live near an auto museum) and they're all modeled after quite desireable, collectable cars, like cobras or lambos. Thats probably why they stopped making those kits. Very little demand for a kit that transforms a camaro into a ????

....its not a ferrari either. Plus its a little sad when you see one of these and it sounds like a thirdgen, when i see a lambo or ferrari i love it because its s real exotic. Just like when i see a real respectable import i like it. This would just be a novelty look to our cars and just not my cup of tea.

If you want a ferrari, save your money and buy a ferarri, if you drive a thirdgen, it is what it is and let it be just that....a thirdgen IMO

I will admit it does look nice though and it does have more of an eclipse mixed with an aston marton look to it

Re: 3rd gen Body kits

What's good about the EVO is no one knows what it is and that makes it very exotic and not all kit cars are modeld after other cars. The Noble GT is a kit car as well as the Attack and they are not modeled after nothing. By the way the headlights are from a Fiat spyder that is not sold in the US.

Re: 3rd gen Body kits

Would rather see a third gen in a junkyard than on the road with one of these kits... at least then they die with honor...

Back to the subject, if you want an import, buy an import. You'll spend a lot less money and you'll get what you're looking for.

Re: 3rd gen Body kits

As you can see this is a really hot car. From the point of view people have (Gets Heated) to the many people that have seen one build as intended and the comments you get from those people that have seen one in person, not in pitures. Never heard a bad comment ever, not from passer bys or at car should standing close just to hear the comments. If you want one, find one build or buy ( hard to find) The only bashing you will ever hear is here.
