What's a good substance to bond two pieces of metal?

I was fixing the generic problem with my headlights today, and I noticed that the idiot I bought the car from snapped the bracket from the metal top. So, when the lights go up, they go up about half way because half of the light is hanging loose.

So I need something to bond it back together. Something that will hold.

I don't have access to a welder.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

my first thought is JB Weld epoxy. I don't have first hand experience with it though

I went and picked up a pack of JB Weld but I think too much of the bracket was broken. It just is not sticking well. :\

use Quick Steel it works wonders, it is in a pitty form so it is easier to work with and sets up in an hour, can be found at auto parts stores and walmart

You could try panel bond, kinda expensive and really runny. But once it dries thats all she wrote.

I am just going to buy an extra bracket. I had one extra assembly laying around that I stole the bracket from. Thanks for the ideas, guys!
