Re: Custom front bumper cover, is this someones here?
hey there thats my car I bought the nose off ebay for 450.00
I like the look of the box 3rd gen but also like the 4th gen nose so its kinda best of both worlds. If your good with body work the the nose will be easy to install you have to do a lot of blending to make it fit the car and I have all the photos to show what I had to do.
I am glad you like the nose there are some that think it looks to RICE but hey everyone has there opinion
For looking at my car

Here is the link to who sells the kit dont like the rear bumper though

myself I think that looks like crap, the custom work and the cat fish. But if you like that stuff the got some pics and stuff like that a grounddynamics.com or something like that. Personally I like the stock look or something alittle custom but not to far from the third gen camaro look. Just my opinion.

I don't care what anybody thinks. That nose is the best looking still retaining the brute visual of the third gen. I've owned an 81 ta, 94 z, 91 firebird and now a 92 z. Look in my garage for what I have done to my 92 z now. I've been looking for a mix for ideas of what to do. Aerodynamically that nose HAS to get it done. Looks great and effective. If people remember the 94 z had better drag coefficient than that same year vette end still ranks one of the best.

But the work he is doing is interesting. I never thought about moulding the front fender to the nose, or mouling the ground effects to the body to make it look like one piece. My only issue with that is, what happens if you need to remove the front end or one of the GFX. It will ruin the paint for the rest of the body.
In any case, I'd like to see how this looks when it is finished.
I am in the same position now as I am prepping my car for paint.

Well I am not planing on removeing the fender or anything else unless I do a mojor rebuild. and this is not a primary car. sunny nice day's going out
with the wife taking kids for ice cream.
Should never see rain / snow
And like I said about everyone has the well lets say thoughts on the front end
and some like the box front end of the 3rd gen. Me I like the body of the 3rd gen looks good but I also like the nose of the 4th gen but the body looks to small. so this way I get best of both and well its a happy car lol

Rick, looks really good, just waiting to see it all done. By the way, you did fiberglass everything before the filler right? Later.
