door pins and weatherstripping???

with alot of work done, its finally time to tackle my 50lb sagging door problem. Any good tips before I get into this????

Also, I noticed a foggy windshield while it was sitting in the rain yesterday. So, guess what, I think its time for new seals, But I have the same problem as trying to find side skirts, WHERE DO I GO?????

Each kit will repair one ThirdGen (1982-92) F-Body door.

Door Hinge Repair Kit for 1982-92 F-Bodies (Non- Greasable)
[200370]
$74.00

Yikes!!!!!!!!!

I am very displeased with TDS. I was dupped into thinking that this kit was complete. It is not complete! The Lower Detent Pin and Roller Kit is needed to make the Door Hinge Repair Kit able to ..." regain the original structural integrity"... of a Third Gen F-Body door. I bought Greaseable type, 2 of them--BIG MISTAKE. For $96.00 TDS should include the Lower Detent Pin and Roller Kit which is more liket than not worn out. The lower hinge pin on my 25yr old F-Body is resuabale where as the Lowe Detend Pin is not. I could have gone a different rout, still bought the Detent Pins from TDS and saved $50.00!!

WOW!! Nobody EVER has anything good to say about TDS!! I always hear complaints about the stuff being incomplete or wrong or not fitting right!! LOL

Re: door pins and weatherstripping???

i used the TDS kit and was very pleased.it does not include the roller and pin as stated but is a very nice kit IMO.my doors work like new now.

as far as weatherstripping go with GM .pricey but worth it.

good luck Mike

Hey guys,
Im going through the exact same thing. Need a weather strip kit and new pins. Is there any other alternative to these rather pricey kits?
