There was a hole punched in the rocker piece, I took it off and pushed I back from behind, most of it is there. If I put a piece of glass over it, will I be able to sand most of it away until it is smooth? Do I finish with a special primer? Is there a good patch kit out there? Any tips would help.

 

you have to remove all broke and frayed fiber glass. and they do make a fibergalss repair kit...$13.00 at auto zone. i dont think there is a special primer. as for laying glass over it, it is hard to tell with out seeing the area that needs repair. i hope someone else has a little more info for you but if not the instructions on the repair kit are pretty good. good luck!
