my wife says that it's too loud with the exhaust, it needs a paint job, it was built using other cars, the drivers seat has a tear, and eew it needs new carpet..

My Sport Coupe with pealed clear coat and a 305 attracted a good amount of attention back when it was on the road . Drove through a park and some kids said, "A ferrari!". I got a kick out of that one . Most people would hear it, then look, and be happy to see something that should be making that kind of noise instead of some beater with no exhaust or rice mobile.

i have a 92 Camaro RS. too many kids want to race me. they call me g a y because my car is purple. then i smoke their a s s and leave them in the dust. they usually get upset by that. my car gets alot of attention. and just today, my teacher called it a trans am, thought that was funny.

just the other day, some guy, mid 40's, tried racing me in a 07 or 08 infinity g35. those cars are pretty quick according to car and driver magazine.
we rolled them off a total of three times. at first i didn't know he was trying to race me, but that infinty made it very clear to me that he wanted to race.
i got him twice, the first time, like i said before, i didn't realize what was happining.
according to " car and driver magazine" those cars run through the quarter at about 100mph. it made me feel kinda proud considering my 3000.00 dollar car out run his 38,000 dollar car. his was in much better condition than mine is...

i get attention in my small town... lots of ppl tell me they love my yellow and i should keep it. Im un decided. But the ladies like it for the most part but then again most ppl around here would prolly rather have beat up trucks or tuners... lol

My car gets a lot of attention in New Hampshire(peeling clearcoat and all), mainly because of the exhaust, on the drive home from Florida my roommate said he could hear me everytime screaming by him over his loud radio in his car. Down in florida where there are more civics and integras people always try to race me(good ole RS emblems) but i rarely bite, i get no satisfaction in showing them the power of a 350 anymore. Just today when i was filling up the town cop came up to me and asked what i had done to my car, we talked for a little bit and he told me to be careful driving around, alot of the speed limits in town had been changed while i was away.

The last couple times on my way out of town heading to the track, some little kids came up and said they liked the car. Couple thumbs up here and there when I do drive it on the street which is not much now a days. Meh, I built it for me, not to please everyone else. This town is full of uncle bens and loud diesel trucks rollin on 22's.

haha, First when I bought my car, people would hear me a few blocks away and then see it and they'd sit there and watch it till they dont see it anymore. I dont get them very often anymore, I transfered school in the middle of the year, and everyone in this school apparently hates it, because its the loudest car, only sports car (everyone else have farm pickups, or SUVS, no joke.) people call it a peice a ****, all I gotta say to them is "Oh? what do you have that is better then that car?" they dont say a word after that or just walk away, I still never got a response. The one thing I love to do is rev it up after school, and most of the highschool that has thier own vehichles will rev up theres, and I sit there and watch, and laugh, because I cant hear them. (once again, they looked pissed).

ya with my 85 i get lots of attention especialy when girls are ridin in it and see the gearshift and want to ride it . with the exhaust and and my cams my car has been mistaken for having a 350 when its a 305.

my budy of mine had a 455 rocket from a firebird but no car to put it in. so we put it in a chrysler that was 500$ with the engine. well the car is real quite when idling in it so when we sit a stop light and a rice burner with the most anoying fart pipe (if u dont have a big engine that can make its own noise then do the world a favor and dont put a fart pipe on it) pulls up next to us and revs his engine thinking hes all big and bad, well this smile quickly turns to fear when he hears all 8 cylinders of that 455 come to life and gets beat by a car that my grandma would be proud to drive.

even though its usually in the garage i do get it out to go to the drive in or ride around town on a sunny day and with the cowl fiberglass lift off hood people (mostly kids) rev on me and the old guys say how nice and good shape my car is in and how 20 years about before i could drive they had a bird or camaro they wish they still had, i dont really race much but to keep the *****s from reving on me i wait till the pull out and show they how to chirp the tires while i let my stall converter and shift kit do their job and make that flowmaster sing as i go by them.

I like when im walking out to my car after school and some kid goes thats a peice of crap and what not (drives a riced out neon) but today had daddys RT magnum i just said whatever cause i dont like to race but if he says sominthing like that agiain when he has the neon ima have to show him what real power is(even tho its jsut a 305). Also i like it when i get older guys looking cause it sounds awsome and looks nice when im driving jsut the other day i went to pepboys and got complimented about my exhaust and i explained what it was and what not he liked the way it sounded. Also i was complimented by a older guy who had a really nice 95? z28 but he wouldnt race me cause my car sounded like it had some huge *** motor in it then.

My car tends to get a lot of attention from people. Usually people expect to see an older guy driving it (since, lets be honest, most really nice stock looking thirdgens are driven by middle aged guys) but when they see me they look a little surprised.

Otherwise, I get some attention from local girls too...which i find surprising since where I live is an area with a lot of nice upscale foreign cars. Its always nice to see a bunch of girls in the car over start yelling at you at traffic lights, haha.

i get mixed reactions from ppl. most kids at my school tell me that its gay or some stupid or slow. but they havn't riddin in it so they have no idea what they are talkin about. i have had it egged number of times and other s h i t. ppl just dont understand camaros and they all love stupid r icers. i beat a stock wrx at the highschool drags last month and i roasted my right tire every pass. ppl think my car is stupid but then i get other ppl who love older cars and think myh car is cool. it sounds bad a ss when i drive cuz i have new flowmaster exhaust on it and a racing 700 r4. it gets me fom point A to point B pretty good. it shifts like a race car. if only ppl rid in it they would know the power and fun these cars are. screw r icers and ppl who hate old cars. CAMAROS are the BEST! im paintin my car all flat blacka this weekend so i shoould get lots more attention than before.

My car get so much attention, mostly from me though. The small town i grew up in was a tourist town populated by mostly old farmers so they see a young kid driving a sports car and think it must be some city punk with daddy's car, althogh if they had taken the time to look inside the car and seen it was me and they were prolly the ones signing my paychecks to pay for the car(yea i've worked on a farm.....so) it would be a different story.


But seriously the first day i had my car on the road nobody believed it was mine, i was just barely 18 years old driving a better car than they ever owned in their entire life.

Mine attracts plenty of attention over this side of the pond. Most likely it's because American cars in general are an extrememly rare sight amongst all those rice-burners and Euroboxes. The majority of people here are ignorant though and think it's a Ferrari.

The best part of it is driving through the town. You roll it as quietly as you can up behind a load of old people and then floor the hell out of it. I'm still waiting for the noise to cause one of them to fall over!

I've owned about 14 in the past 4 years. Ive the most attention ive gotten was an 86 iroc that was rusted bumper to bumper and yet i still got the "wow that car is sweet"

It actually gets more looks now then it did back in 1990

yea at school there are a ton of 4th gens... one other red 88 sport coupe with the iroc hood and silver ground effects its nice, and then mine and one 2nd gen firebird. Last few days of school i have had ppl come up to me and say hey i saw your car today or hey man i like your car, the first day i drove it there were about 6 people waiting by it just so they could hear it run. lol of coarse there are the ****** that assume that by joking around with other car guys and bashing mustangs and ri(ers that i hate everything but chevys.... had one guy as what do you got a slomaro? i just told him they all have their funny names man u know... Rustangs? he quit talkin to me after that lol all together i love american muscle and most people at my school do to but there is a high amount of tuners running around also lol and almost every one of them has a fart pipe. HAHA

i started driving my car about 1 month ago. i noticed that a lot of people did stare at me. everywhere i go in this car,i recieve some type of comment. some people love it and some people hate it.

i'm 33 yrs old and these cars were hot when i was a teen.everybody and their brothers had mustangs, but when an iroc pulled up everyone focused their attention on the iroc.

i trip out over how many younger people like these cars. it seems like people in their teen's and early twenty's like these cars more than i realized.

i believe the third gen will be more popular than the second or fourth gen cars.

Yeah, even tho my 92 has rust spots on the hood and a cracked up nose, she still gets LOTS of attention. I'm kinda used to ppl staring at me while driving due to my dad owning a 41 chevy p/u and my first couple cars being from that time also. It's still strange to have ppl look at me when I'm in my baby tho. I even have ppl asking if I'd sell her, my answer is always Nope.

Lots of high and middle schools around me, i've only had kids yell "nice car" and not in a sarcastic way. The majority of attention i've had from it come from 30-40 year old men asking me what's under the hood, or that the body is in good shape. Even cops. Had some crazy guy even hold up traffic in an intersection while he was trying to talk to me about the car from inside his.

Never had someone say that they hate it. I'm not in highschool though, with all that stupid type of sh*t going on.

edit: oh, my gf does say she "hates" it, but that's only when the middle aged men stop and want to talk about it in parking lots and what not while she's in the car. And when other third genners give the wave while driving.
