T-Top weatherstrip and bar
I'm putting in new weatherstrip on the firebird and was just wondering if there is a stickey or another good thread someone can point me too.
I know I need to remove the old stuff and get it as clean as possible; what I'm looking for is where to apply the weatherstrip adhesive, prep work to be done the the t-bar and any other silicone or seam sealer that should be put in while everything is ripped apart.
Thanks to anyone that replies

Re: T-Top weatherstrip and bar
Thanks. I did do some searching, but did hit this link for some reason...
Just to clarify, the purpose of the weather strip adhesive is only to hold the weather strip in place and not to run a huge bead and be used to seal out a leak?

The weather strip adhesive is to seal the rubber to the body. The design of the weatherstripping will still allow water in if not sealed. I used the weatherstripping adhesive in the lower channel to secure the weatherstripping and used windshield caulk to seal it to the body. It was a much cleaner install this way.
