removing blister screens (92)

how do you go about removing the screen looking part of the 91-92 camaro Z28 hood blisters? do you need to remove the blister to get at it from underneath? or do they just pop out from the top?

they are held on with adhesive tape. try a heat gun and some gentle prying.
