Forward Sliding Door Kit?
I was surfing and came across this pic. Thought it would be a sweet mod for my TA doors. I know they're doing minivan doors on a lot of new concept cars, but i haven't been able to find a universal sliding door kit anywhere online. Im sure it would take a lot more work and modding than lambo doors, but I cant believe (after all this time) no-one has put out an after market slide kit.

Re: Forward Sliding Door Kit?
your door panel or front fender would look like a minivan's rear quarter panel/glass. And for the sake of the idea, i would assume people would choose to make the inside door panel have that metal guide instead of the fender. Unique non the less, i would just like to see it in person before i would do it. And i'm not biased either, i'm not terribly impressed with labo doors, i like them, but i don't like that you need to spend $2000 before you get a very good quality kit. Especially since it's not completely bolt on, and you still need to further modify your car (cut into fender lip and such) to make it work. Just not my cup of tea for those prices, $500 for an excellent condition kit might change my mind but i don't see that anytime in the near future. Do you have anymore pics of this car above???

Re: Forward Sliding Door Kit?
It's a 69 Chrysler 70X concept car
These are the only other pics of it i can find
I actually think this car is...well ...ugly.
It does however show that sliding doors have been around for 40 years.
It's hard to believe there isn't an after market door-slide kit out there.
