Fender question
Hey all, I'm new to these forums, but not not to Camaros. But anyway, I need to get a new front right fender, and I can't remember or find out if a base model Camaro fender with NO ground effects/skirts will fit for my Z/28 Do I need to get a fender off a Z/28 or can I use a base model fender?? I will be using my current skirts for whatever new fender I get. Thank you In advance..

Re: Fender question
i think there all interchangable.
just get one from the wrecker or something. cost you like maybe $50 or something. could be more. no idea what the priceing of them are.
what is wrong with your fender?

Re: Fender question
i as well also believe they are all interchangable for the most part...only issue is if you get it from a base coupe or w/e w/out the body kit or the older body kit you will have to possibly fill/change holes around to accomidate the body kit you have for the car, thats all.

Re: Fender question
That's mostly what i was wondering. I know on the Z/28's and all, they have special holes at the very bottom of the fender to allow the FX to clip in. There is a lip that extends from the fender, I just don't know if the Base models have that too. I might just have to see for myself and go look at one. As for the fender, I got my Z/28 last year from a friend who crashed it in the rain and went under a truck. The right front of the hood, and fender are messed up, not horribly, but sure enough to make it look sbad. I need to get a fender and hood. But I'm looking for a Daytona hood for it. Just don't wanna pay for brand new...:/

Re: Fender question
If you don't get a for sure answer or you want a more definent answer, try calling a few body shops.
As everyone else has said, I think they are all interchangeable.
At the least it should bolt up without any modifications. Maybe some for the trim though.

Re: Fender question
all camaro fenders are interchangeable, so are all firebird fenders. the only difference between the years will be the mounting holes for the gfx.
