How to remove the lock cylinder on the hatch

I have a new lock cylinder to go into the hatch area but wanted to see if anyone knew how to seperate the lock cylinder from the motorized hatch release ? I had it all apart but something wouldnt let the cylinder disengage from the motor assembly so I threw it back together to try another time when it warms up a bit around here

Anyone have any advise they would like to share on that ?

Thanks for any input
Kaycee

there is usually a clip that holds that thing in there, you should be able to get to it with a pick or some similar tool.

and if that doesnt work might i suggest high grade explosives, because by that point you will be so pissed off that that will be what you feel like using.
