Minor bodywork
Hey all,
I am brand new to body work, but there is something that I would like to try out. I am looking to fill the holes in my GFX side skirt where the emblem were on my 91 RS. I want to make the front part smooth. What would I need and what would be the best way to go about doing this?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: Minor bodywork
Carefully bevel the edges and fill it in with polyester glaze.
My personal opinion though, would be to leave them there. A previous owner had done this with one of my '86's and I hated the look, just too plain. It now has emblems on a flat surface, lol.

The only reason I suggested the polyester glaze was because it is closer to the flexibility of the camaro '91-'92 gfx. Otherwise, I agree the fiberglass filler would be best.

Bondo Bumper Repair Kit, No. 280. I wouldn't consider using anything else on the flexible GFX. Its strong and flexible. I've used it to repair and fill some pretty screwed up front fender pieces with good results. $7 at my local Murray's Auto Parts. You're going to need 2 or 3 tubes to fill each of those depressions
