Trans Am door gfx removel
I have an 87 T/A, Ive got 3 nuts inside the door off for the ground effects, but it seems both the ends still have bolts holding them on. where are these, or is it adhesive or something?
also does anybody know if the aero door/rocker gfx from a 91-92 camaro will bolt right on?

Re: Trans Am door gfx removel
It's been a while since I took the GFX off the doors of my 91 bird, but I belive there are 5 or 6 bolts. One is way up in the front of the door and really hard to see, the other end of mine has 2 bolts in the door jamb. When you open the door look down below the door latch, mine has 2 acorn looking nuts on the GFX bolts.

there are also two black nuts on the inside door jamb flange, (but they are not inside the door where the other nuts were) you should be able to open your door and see them.
and IIRC camaro ground FX use different mounting holes.

Re: Trans Am door gfx removel
thanks, I was wondering if those were nuts or not.
edit:
got it off, found the worst rust so far on my car, tomorrow guess Im having fun with the die grinder, may end up with a new door though although I'd just swap the doors off a 91 camaro so I'd get the gfx I want.
