door problem

im wondering if any one else has this partivular problem. when i push the button to roll up my window, i can see the door panel bow in, and then when it goes all the way up to the top and stops it will bow out the panel. i removed the door panel and found with all the bowing, it had cracked my door panel at the rivet that looks like to hold the scissor for the window. is there a fix to the bowing problem? is there fix to the cracking other than replaceing the whole door?

Re: door problem

yeha you might want to look at it. if i let mine go, i think the scissor for the window might fall off track or something. because when it is in the up position, the panel pushes itself away from it.

Re: door problem

Remove the rivet, install a fender washer and a new rivet, then weld the washer to the door.

This is mine before the fix

After, I also had one of the spots done where the motor mounts to the door.
