Blackouts/Headlight Covers 1991-1992 Interesting Nose Fact
Hi all,
Well I have been looking to get some black outs (headlight covers) for my 1991 contvertible...aside from looks I have noticed that the sun is taking its toll in the inlets of the nose in those areas.
Well after looking around for brands etc (GT, Ventshade, Wade) I noticed that they have different ones for the RS and the z28's. Meaning that the nose must be different on these cars right? I am in total disbelief having had these cars for so long and never noticing this...
Anyone have any thoughts on this? Also if anyone has an recommendations on which brand "HOLDS" better for the headlight covers would also appreciate that. I can't find accurate photos anywhere.

SERIOUSLY,LOOK AT A 91 RS,AND A 92 Z-28 SIDE BY SIDE.THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE (APPEARANCE WISE) OTHER THAN THE HOOD.

the nose on the cars with ground effects was the same from 85-92

Thats what I always thought...1985-1992 same front bumper cover. I am just curious as to why the black out (headlight cover) makers have different model numbers. Take a look at this ebay auction for example.

You are bidding on headlight covers / headlight Blackouts for a 1988 - 1992 Camaro. This also fits the 1990 - 1992 Z-28, the 1985 - 1987 Z-28 (the regular Camaro is different), AND the 1985 - 1992 Iroc-Z!!!!! All of these vehicles have the same headlight assembly.
Thoughts? And I have checked other vendors like I mentioned before...they all have different model numbers...
