Honeycomb Taillights
Well, I'll just start out with introducing myself. My name is Josh, and I'm from the great state of Tennessee. Yes, I do prefer imports, but... every man loves the muscle. I bought an 87 Iroc from a friend of my dads for $300. But, trust me.. it probably wasnt even worth that. My dad and I have been restoring it for the past 2 years, little by little. Now, all that's left is the exterior. Perhaps I'm the only one (hopefuly not), but I absolutely hate taillights on 3rd gens. They just don't look appealing to me at all (and NO, I don't like the clear lights on hondas, etc). The smoked out covers look good, IMO, but not on my maroon baby. My dad has honeycomb overlays on his GT, and my stepmom has them on her trans am. Is there a company that makes them for 3rd gens? Or am I just going to have to by a sheet of it and cut them out myself? Does anyone have pictures of it on any camaro? Thanks in advance! I'll be sure to get some pictures up once the project is complete. Hopefully I'll be done this winter.
Any different things to do with the taillights is definitely welcome!

The camaro guys either paint the amber section with black or transparent red, thats the most common modification. One member on here has or was planning to make custom clear taillights for camaros. Some people have put LED's in. A few other one-off custom things have been done.
