rusty old floor
hey guys i have an 87' firebird and the driver floor is rotted really badly i was just wondering if a 4th gen floor would work in it because i know the seats and center console fit im optimistic that it will work thanks for any feedback

While I can't answer your 4th gen question, I can sympathize with your floor issues. My '92 is plagued with rust in some rather awkward places in the floor and kick panel areas. I've just been cutting out the cancer and welding in new metal. The majority of the floor is solid though, so it sounds like yours is worse than mine. You can get full pans for our cars from Year One (and probably others as well) but they're a couple hundred bucks Anyway, good luck, and here's a few pics of my damage and repair:

yea my floors are worse than yours but all of it is in front of the driver seat there is literally none any where else the problem is i don't have a welder : (
