I have a post in parts wanted about needing both front fenders for a 1982 trans am.

The reson i'm making this thread is to ask if any has these or if anyone knows where i can buy cheap ones new or used.

I found almost nothing in ebay for 1982 for the GFX package i have from 1982.

also i found palces wanting rediculous amount of money not just for the part but twice as much for shipping.

any help would be great guys.

pass side is the one thats virtually impossible to find


the driver side are made aftermarket and are cheap






ive been trying to find a good pass side one for over 6 years

and good luck with 82 83 84 gfx stuff too,

if you find any of this early bird stuff then get a lottery ticket cuz you are lucky

My advice get a parts car, just bought running '92 with all needed fenders GFX and bumpers to put on my '91 R/S for 500$. Saved a lot of money plus I got a spare car to lend my buddy for the spring break (we took the head of his VW and its still all over his garage

P.S. does anyone know whe I can get chars/photos/instructions for instaling/uninstaling fenders and bumpers on a third gen? My Haynes Repair Manual does not cover it. thanks

parts cars ar a very rare commodity in some regions such as here in central IL, no junk or parts is allowed to sit in plain sight, very rare to find anything at all, all has been taken to shredder since prices are way up for scrap steel and cars

Oh Randy , btw, i am the guy who bought that parts car from Perioa, the one that you posted the Craigs list link. Sorry I have not answered your email, was busy at my job. thanks again for the tip. I'll post pictures as soon as i start working on it.

i have a guy that says he'll sell me a passneger fender for 100 new from GM. not sure what i'll do about driver becuase i want old used or new gm

but yes i have 1986 but i'm changing bumpers and gorund effects to make it ulook 82-84. And i have all versions of the 82-84 ground effects u name it i got it.

i jsut wanted the fron fenders that had the proper holes to bolt my older GFX
