How do I refurbish fog lights and stop fogging?

Ok so I bought these factory fog lights last year and got ripped off on them. Guy made them out to be in really good shape but I recieved them far from it. Now they've also started to get moisture behind the glass and they fog up and really look like ***. I took one off to see if the seal was bad or something but there's an air hole in the bottom so it shouldn't be doing that. Should I seal up that hole? I want to pull the passenger one apart and get all the rust off the metal piece covering the bulb and paint it. How can I split from the glass from the housing without damaging the glass? This is a shot in the dark, but is there any way to repair chips in the glass? Since the glass isn't clear you can't really seem them from far away but still I'd like to fix that if I could. If not, then oh well.

Best bet is to pick up a set of aftermarket fog lamps from AZ or the equivalent. Blazer is one brand name. For around $18 you will get new lenses, lamps and reflectors that are a direct swap into your stock housings. Just take one of your lenses with you to get the correct size.

The stock lenses are just held in with some sealant, should pop right out with a little effort.

So everything inside would be replaced by doing that?

I bought the Blazer ones and just installed them instead of the factory ones. The cost is cheap and they work just as good as the OEM's. Sold my OEM's and life was good. No one can tell the difference.

They have the same mounting setup as the stockers? I'll try and hit AZ tomarrow and have a look at those.

If you look at mine you can't tell the difference. the Blazers are the same size and brightness.

I looked at the Blazer driving lights yesterday at Wal-Mart and I'm not sure I totally like the glass on those. I also didn't see how the lens inside could work in the factory housings. For now I think I'll just leave the glass and scrape off the peeling paint. What can I do to stop the moisture though? Should I just plug up that hole?

Did you look at the CLEAR lenses? Shouldn't be able to tell the diff from stock.

Most likely water's gotten in somehow and can't get out. Try drying everything inside and buttoning it back up. Unless you're missing some of the gfx plastic under the fogs water shouldn't be getting back into them.

Ok, I just saw some pictures of fog lights in another thread and I see what you're talking about, the Trans Am/Firebird lights do look like those blazer ones but I don't have a TA, I have a Camaro. Camaro fogs look like this (these aren't mine):
