Back hatch is not aligned

Car: 1984 Camaro
Engine: 350 bored .30 over
Transmission: TCI 700-R4
Axle/Gears: Stock 3.23 i think
Back hatch is not aligned

When i close my hatch the poiler comes out about half a inch past the two side body spoilers. How can i fix that. Any help is greatful

Plus it takes me about three hard closes to clse it.

loosen the bolts at the top of the hatch, push the hatch in some more, and re tighten the bolts.

You might want to have your hatch open of coarse to move it around easier.

You also forgot to mention propping up the opened hatch and removing the hatch struts from one end. Otherwise the force of the hatch strut will push the hatch further to the rear. You may not be able to fully adjust it at the hinge. The other place to adjust it is the metal portion at the rear of the hatch where it attaches to the glass.

Thanks Lon, forgot about that. Been a while since I re aligned mine, I just had to remove the struts, and push it in.
