Dumb Question? Weatherstrip adhesive...
I have Permatex Black Super Weatherstrip Adhesive.
1. Can I use this stuff to glue my T Top Center bar on? Is this stuff good for everything, or should I use regular black silicone for the bar and retainers?
2. It says to apply an even film of the stuff to both surfaces, let dry, then apply ANOTHER bead and bond them together. Has anybody had good luck using this technique? Or did you just apply it and bond?

i'd imagine its similar to rubber cement. with rubber cement, you can do a wet mount, or dry mount, in this case, they want you to use both.
this increases your chance for a bond and less of a chance of leaks. i'd say do everything in your power to increase the bond, so i'd follow the directions of doing the dry mount, then putting a few beads on for the wet mount part.
i hope that makes sense.
just follow the directions.
as for the t-bar...i don't know. this is what saves you if you happen to roll over...so i wouldn't skimp on that part...
