That does suck, sorry to see such a beautiful car bent up. Its good to hear you will be saving her and not sending it to the graveyard like so many choose to do.
I know how you feel too, I just wrecked my 92 Camaro two weeks ago when I rear ended a Ford pickup in heavy fog. I was on the barkes and it dove under the truck. Thankfully no structural damage just bent sheetmetal...Working on it today as a matter of fact.

Listen, I was a dumbass three weeks ago and made a bad left turn. body damage to the passenger door and rear quarter panel.. some frame-pulling is needed so the door can clear without grazing the edge of the rear quarter. and since the quarter panel is pushed in, the side of the rear hatch grazes the top of the quarter panel. now Im still driving the car. car drives fairly good. 110,000 miles. decent body condition all around, with minor rust spots. heres the big criteria: its a v6. SO MY question is this: should I pay for the repair? or just use the money on a nice V8? I saw a beautiful cherry red 1992 V-8 today on a used lot. I dont have the funds now, but will have funds in december. body shop bills are what they are. I''ll pay close to $2500,. the v8 I saw today is $3000. tax tag and fees puts that v8 at $3500. lets say im fortunate enough to get a body shop bill that doesnt top out over $2500. So repair a v6? or spend another $1000 and buy the v8? and what is my car worth with the damage it has now? ALSO: can a smashed in door be re-skinned, or do I have to buy a new door? Its a white V6. paint still shiny and somewhat new looking. Minor roof bubbles over the passenger door. runs decent. needs a tuneup. sometimes rough idle, and stalls. maybe needs a sensor. a tuneup is sorely needed. brakes are average. had Work done at firestone on the brakes. Im not impressed with their work. but WHATS the market value on 1991 V6 camaros? whats the demand? is it a piece of crap that should not be fixed?

I just stripped an 87 GTA and sent it to the crusher about a month ago. The car wasnt even wrecked, good body, rust free. They arent really worth enough, and arent at all rare enough to make a big deal about it. But that sucks about the car. I probably would have chosen to hit the animal. They move when you plow into them...a tree more than likely wont.

I can't help but notice your drivers side GTA emblem appears to be in the wrong location, meaning the fender has probably been replaced in the past. Look at the upside...You can put the front fender emblems in the right spot!
