Yeah, whats wrong with that wheel? I agree with Neil about the horn button but other than that, the wheel looks sweet!

Hmm you live in Houston Neil, Maybe I might be able to see this piece of performance sooner or later. Anyways, How was that abs headliner going in? PITA?

Sure! The ABS headliner went in just fine, no issues at all! Before I covered it I test fitted it in the car with no problems.

Well, I can't comment on the sagging issue because I don't really have it installed..it is laying on the top of the roll bar and the rear view mirror. I am hoping that once I mount the center console light, the rear trim piece and the visors that it will stay up and not sag. If it does sag, might have to think of some velcro fastener setup that would work???

as far as I know, sagging issues only come from wrong or not enough adhesive to attach the material to the abs board.
Like I said,not 100% just my 2cents!
Anyway, Neil I still keep finding myself going back umteen pages and looking at your custom painted emblems and saying this guy is TOTALLY into his ride!
Alot has happened since then and as 50,000 people have already said
SWEET RIDE!!KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
I know your probably sick of hearing that!!LOL!

I can't say 100% but I don't believe the abs h/l would have a sagging problem (or would it?)

As for the emblems, yeah, I have issues, but I enjoy it and hearing all you guys into this as much as you are is very motivating and not to sound corny but that motivates me to work on the car when I am totally sick of it. At this point I am starting to see this thing actually running in the near future. After the hydraulic throwout bearing gets here and hopefully by the weekend after next the engine & tranny will be in....then the car is off to the fab shop for a complete exhaust system. I'll be going with 2" primaries and 3.5" duals with an x-pipe. I'll probably be at the shop everyday checking on progress and the car! LOL

I didn't think of the sagging issue in regards to the contact cement not doing it's job. So far, so good...the headliner hasn't come off the ABS, though we'll have to see how it holds over time in the Texas heat???

Dude good to hear from you the other day. Been to long since we last talked. The car is looking incredible. Can't wait for a ride in it(I'll bring my helmet). I'm up in your area at least a couple of times a month. If you need me to haul anything to you let me know. Keep in touch.

I finally trimmed the dash-cowl piece to fit and as you can see I removed quite a bit of the original material. Once I got the piece to fit properly I washed it with warm soap and water and then dyed it black to match the dash.

Forgot one pic of the engine in the car and more of the shifter. Smoothed the edges with a file and added thermal barrier to the hump around the shifter, then used 1/4" rubber tubing slit down the side as a gasket seal to the rubber shift boot (not pictured). That's it for now.

Hey man, that cut-off wheel or what's left of it is a Roto Zip with the zip mate attachment (cut off wheel). I also have the air cut off tool but was out of wheels.

As for the exhaust I have Hawk's stainless LS headers and Y-pipe but I am going to sell it and go with a complete custom system. The header primaries will be 2" flowing into dual 3" pipe and Magnaflow mufflers. The whole system will be fabricated from stainless steel. I wasn't planning on going this route as it will be pricey, but I would be choking the engine with those 1 3/4" primaries.
