T-Top gasket
I think I found another leak in my t-tops today. There is a gasket under the plastic part of my t-tops, shown in pic. It is all dry rotted and there are peices missing. Is this a replaceable gasket? Thanks for any help.

Frank, do you know how to get that hard piece off of the t-top? I removed the screws that I could find, but the piece isn't budging. If I knew how many screws there were, I'd know if I missed some, or if the thing is just stuck fast from being on there for so long, or because someone used adhesive on it at some point.

The one from HAWKS is actually plastic, unlike the original, which is a hard rubber.

Hmm, ok, that's good to know. I was pulling on it pretty hard, but it didn't seem to want to go anywhere. I'll triple-check for any missed screws, then I guess I'll just have to pull and pry till it lets go!

Did you remove the weatherstripping? If there were any screws, they would have been hidden under the weatherstripping.

there may be a couple of screws under the bracket that the T-top weatherstripping slids on to. See if you can remove that bracket. I pretty much took everything apart as I also replaced the lock cylinders at the same time. Again, it was some time ago and my memory isn't as good as it use to be.

The t-tops I am working on are actually my old Lexan set, that I no longer use on my Formula. I am using them as a test, seeing how to properly remove the seals so that I can then do the job on my glass tops without damaging anything!
