If you see nuts where the hinge is held to the car/door then it should be easy (in theory, but usually the easier it is to get to the nut, the harder it is to get off). If you don't see any nuts, you might have to rip your dash out. A friend of mind had to get this done and it cost around 800 bucks because of the labor for ripping the dash out. Not with a thirdgen though.

I have taken the 3 nuts out and have taken the door all the way off, placed it back on after getting it aligned up... then after i screw them back in, the door slumps back down...... ideas?

Well this problem happens often on cars, especially ones this old. People neglect them and forget to grease them once in a while then the pin rubs on the other part of the hinge and wears away an area. Replace the whole hinge with a new one, or a good one you find in a junkyard. Be sure to grease it too

The hinges should come off the door too. Take the door off, lay some towels on the ground and set the door on it (so you don't scratch your paint). Then take the panel off and see if you can access the bolts holding the hinge on to the door.

Guys, just type in door hinges or door pins in the search bar and there is a TON of info already posted.

I'll answer this since the thread is already made and it would make no sense to clutter it up with "search". When a door is attached with a good hinge, it doesn't move down when you open it, and its (fairly) easy to close. Thats pretty much the only way unless you can visibly see where the metal is worn off in large ammounts. Iron duke is right though, there are over 1000 threads in each topic and a good percent of them have something to do with pins, hinges, and sagging doors.
