Fiberglass scoop to metal hood?

Fiberglass scoop to metal hood?
What is the best way to attach//seal a fiberglass scoop to a metal hood ??
Also can the fiberglass scoop be sanded and primed same as metal??

This has been posted before, and I believe that it wouldn't be wise to seal a fiberglass scoop to a metal hood because the metal will expand/shrink with the head and will cause the seal to crack over time.
