Shock tower.

I'm considering buying a 82 Firebird with T-tops and a 4speed for 650$. The shock tower is gone, but I know a damn good welder and he would give me a deal. So if I could find another one, would it be possible to weld in? Or is there no hope?

There deffinitely is the possibility to weld in a new one. If you're talkin about the part I'm thinkin about it'll cost about 300 for one of them.

tower

You can get a nice rust free tower for like $50 from someone parting a car anyday, now as for making it works its very possible but if its not lined up just right you will have many issues, pulling and so forth, expect it to never be perfect if you do it
