Annoying sounds
The thing that drives me nuts most about my car is that it sounds like a 20 year old used car ( oh wait it is). Anyway, I live in upstate New York where the weather sux and the roads are even worse. I spend most of my time dodging potholes and rough road patches while driving. Sometimes its unavoidable tho. Whenever I go over a rough spot, I get a very nasty rattle that sounds like its coming from the passenger floor pan area. I know that the dash rattling is a typical problem, but this sounds pretty bad. Anyone have any idea what it could be? If not, how do I fix the dash rattle problem and how easy is it? Continueing on the topic of weird sounds, my power steering pump acts up and squels like crazy sometimes, espescially when turning hard in parking lots and such ( tho I never "crank" it). But this will also happen while traveling along at a good speed going pretty straight sometimes. Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Pass floor area rattle is likely a bad cat. It will deteriorate inside. Get under and whack it around a little to check it. Power steering whine, if not a loose belt, can be low fluid or bad pump.
Subframe connectors can help with some of the rattling as they force the suspension to do it's work rather than allowing the body to flex. Some of your rattles can't really be fixed or tightened until you tighten the body or the flex will work them loose again.
