Ever think of buying a bullet proof vest, and then beefing up the Headrest?
It'd be cheaper, and you could take the vest wherever.

The best way to deter someone shooting at you is to shoot back. If youre running, youre a target. If you stand and fight, you are a threat and usually some ghetto punk will just run when the bullets start flying his way. Personally, i hope someone trys to carjack me. I keep an AK-47 w. a folding stock in my backseat under a towel
I am also Canadian (and yes, WE gave you hockey, so give us back OUR cup!!! ) First Calgary, now Edmonton loses, d'argh!
also mechanical engineering student.

they are two different bolt patterns
the V6 2.8/3.1 is a 60* and the 4.3/SBC are all 90*
the bolt holes do not even come close.
now can you swap engines? of course...
but you change...
the motor mounts
trans
radiator
engine side exhaust
your fuel system (possibly)
your ECM or at least the prom
your wiring harness (if EFI)

Unless you are on your bike and someone is trying to use their car as a weapon itself, and you just -can't- just boot (and even then it's a stretch), you do not pull and fire a gun on the highway or any other roadway while you are driving!!! That is plain *** stupid. Asinine! Ah... I can see it now....
'Yes occifer, they plunked my trunk lid with a bb and were makin' them tar faces at muh!'
-'And then you proceeded to fire, and empty, a fully automatic weapon on an open roadway, at a moving target, which was a car full of kids... while operating your vehicle, is this correct?'
'Yessa'
-'Are you retarded?'
'uhhhh....'
~Whack~
-'You have the right to remain silent and refuse to answer questions. Do you understand?'
'Ugn-gn-gn-gn...'
~Whack~
-'You have the right to consult an attorney before speaking to the police and to have an attorney present during questioning now or in the future. Do you understand?'
'Urk..'
~Whack~
-'If... What was that Zeke? I forgot one? Ok.'
~Whack~
-'You have the right.... hey wake up, we ain't done yet!'
Not to mention the complete mess of your financial health once some bystander sues you for every damn thing you own, never mind if you hit some innocent while committing your stupidity. Never mind the criminal record. WTF is wrong with people today?!? Use that damn grey slush in your head on occasion, it'll do you good!

There are way too many stupid people out there carrying guns around. Don't get me wrong though, I love shooting my guns and hunting when I can. I just don't take the things with me everywhere I go.
Oh, I'm also a ME guy.

Isn't there an adapter plate to go from a v6 700r4 to a v8?
