repairing hole in floor

Axle/Gears: 3.42 spool on the way
repairing hole in floor

yeah my maros got a hole in the floor pan on the drivers side . im thinking of (for now) riveting and permatexing a piece of 16 gauge up there
anything i should be careful of?

If there is any welding at ALL, or anything that involves sparking, drape all your interior cloth, whether it be carpet, seats, sound deadening material, whatever, in a damp towel. I have seen interiors go up while welding floor pans back in and it is not a fun job. Have a bucket of water with you too just in case.
