Trans Am/Firebird fender
On my 89 trans am I have a right fender to replace. I have a fender from a firebird. It doesn't have the cutout in it at the lower rear. Is it possible to modify this fender or better to get the one with the cutout? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

It'd probably be a lot easier to get a fender with the cutout for the vent. It wouldn't be hard to modify it though as long as you're good at metal fab. I wanted trans am vents in my firebirds fenders, so one day my girlfriend took my fenders off and cut out holes for the vents. She said it wasn't too hard. Can't we all be blessed with a girl who is a metal fabricator.
