I had fun tonight!

I have a project car if there ever was one. My 84 Z28 was sitting outside for sometime with the passenger window down. The floor is not rusted too bad, but the interior is downright nasty from basically being outside. I'm taking the seats out, and spent most of the night getting three of the four nuts holding the passenger seat off. They are horribly rusted and one of them was already rounded off. Chisels, drills, vice grips, cussing and swearing were all involved. I have 3/4 of the last nut and stud(the inside rear one) chiseled off, but I'm plum give out and probably couldn't pick up a hammer right now if I wanted to. I like a challenge when restoring a car, but maybe next time I'll get one that's been in a garage all it's life and just needs fresh belts and hoses- lol

I bought this one and a complete 91 V6 Camaro for $500. I'm going to take what parts I need from the 91 and sell the rest. Actually, the 91 is in much better shape although it's repo. But, the 84 is a 5 speed, a real Z28, and a bit of a challenge. The exterior is faded and rusted(on the roof) but has almost no body damage. I'm going to get some Rust Encapsolator from Eastwood in a few days to stop the roof rust. I kind of like when people shake their head believing that it'll never see the road again while I'm working away on proving them wrong- lol
