4th gen seatbelt guide Q's Help :D

Ok just got a set of 99 T/A leather seats for my 89 and I'am wondering how do i go about looping through the seatbelt guides cause there is no slit in them so do I unbolt the top or bottom of the seatbelts to get this thing through.

I just cut my own slit and it works great. I assume you can feed it through if you took the seat belt aparts some how though.

I cut a slit in the guide in between the 2 screw holes so it isnt that noticable and so it doesnt lose much strength

Yeah i was kind of thinking the same but if it's not to bad to take apart the seatbelts I rather do that if I can.

I may be wrong but I dont think you will be able to take the retaractors apart, or get the belt off the retractor. I think it is swen together at the end so there is no possibility of it coming apart in an accident. Again I may be wrong but if you find out if you can or not let us know. If I ever do it again and they can come off I may take the time to do that
