dash pad

i've tried to search, and have not come up w/ anything on this: i keep cracking dashpads--in the same location. i'm figuring they must be dried out or something, so i want to put something on my latest dashpad to render it soft and pliable again, as it has no cracks... does anyone know of a good product to "re-hydrate" a dash pad? thanks
