just threw it on, didn't do any fitting or anything so its very rough, but you get the idea!

any tips for making the spoiler fit right? the hatch piece fits fine, but the quarter panel pieces seem to fit poorly.

Fit poorly how? They don't line up or just the shape of them on the body of the car? To get more movement out of them to match the deck spoiler a good way is to hog out the mounting holes. This works pretty good on most of the 2nd gen T/A's I do and they have alot of spoilers of some type. If the fit to the the body contour is bad then in most caeses you will need to add or remove material. Just depends what type of fit you need. I did see in the one pic that the side spoiler didn't seem to follow the shape of the quarter to well. That or it just wasn't tightened down snugging it up. If you don't like the gap then tape up that area of the quarter and add some fiberglass to your spoiler . The tape will act as a partial mold and not stick the fiberflass to your car. That will fill the gap and ensure a perfect contour of your car. Good luck.

Wow, A Shop!!!! (Paint)

With the stripes you're going to put on; will you add more metal flake content to the color??? Last vehicle I completely stripped down and repainted, I increased the size and 'flake' amount so it would pick up the secondary color as the amount of daylight changed. It worked out great.

It's a really nice factory color; that's why I'm curious as to how you want to add changes to it. Best of Luck!

Ok, here is what i did.

I took the factory color, mixed it, then looked at some other colors that i liked, seen what was different about it. main difference was some fine metalic flake. so i added about 13 parts of fine metalic flake, and just about 1/2 a part of blue pearl. i shook the paint, opened it up and noticed that it was wayyyyyyyy to pastel for me, so i went back and added some more dark violet, and perfecto! for the stripes i mixed up some Light Spiral Gray Metalic. and added 1/2 park russet pearl and 1/2 part blue pearl. the combonation of these too are AMAZING! too bad the samples i have don't show the color the greatest, really one of those color syou have to see in person.

Adding the Pearls...

I've never worked much with Pearls yet, but I'm getting a good mental visual. Very subtle, but I'll bet at early evening dusk it'll just glow and add some mean-ness with the black trim & tires.... Wow, I think you've hit upon a GREAT formula!!! Thanks for taking the time to explain. Nitro

Very nice work bro. Are you going to go with blisters on the hood or stay louvered?

louvered. they go with the RS theme better. the front 'grill' looks alot like the louvers and thats the main reason they are staying. The whole effect I'm going for is keeping the RS feel, which the 5" does and the louvers do with the front grill.
