Fuel door rubbing...
Hey guys,
My fuel door rubs slightly on the fender when I open it. It's not a huge issue but I'm getting the car repainted, and I'm afraid that it will damage the new paint.
I guess there's a certain amount of adjustability there, but it seems like the door may be 'bent" slightly from years of use. I've found that many third-gens in the junkyard also suffer from this problem.
I'm considering purchasing a new fuel door, but if the adjustment will take care of it, I'll go that route.
Has anyone solved this problem? If so, how?
Thanks
