4th gen gauges need help

4th gen gauges need help

just got my 4th gen dash and gauges out of an 01 ls1 formula sence there is only a digital odometer is there any way to make it work?

I believe you need to get the conversion box to switch the signal from mechanical to digital, and it should work... i think

Transmission: 700R4, 4L60E, 6-speed
Axle/Gears: 3.42, 3.42, 3.42
the odometer will work if the speed works.. problem though is actually being able to get the odometer to show correctly.. the trip and all wont work with the wiring that is found.. it was figured out and should be here somewhere on the boards.. i think i have the wiring somewhere as well.. i was going to use the digital cluster but ran into a deal on a 97 camaro cluster so used it instead, but i was able to illuminate the digital odo correcly if i recall.. ill look and see what i have.

i have a digital odometer and it works fine with only the input from the tailshaft mounted VSS.
the trip on the other hand, resets everytime i shut the car off.
no computer in my car, no biggie.
mileage is intact and correct.

can some one give me some help on how to get the wiring matched up to the gauges?

i have a schemtic that shows what wire is what out the back of the cluster.
