Grid or Non Grid Tailights?

I started this thread because I thought most people would say that they prefer the grid style.

For a while, they were exclusive to the high performace vehicles and they are uniquely thirdgen.

But I still prefer the non grid style. They remind me of the lights on the 1981 Camaro I used to own. I think there is more of a family resemblence.

By the way, that awesome Z/28 is not mine. I "borrowed" the photo.

Anyone else care to offer an opinion?

I used to like the grids, but everyone has them... I kept the stock RS lights on mine and tinted the amber portion.

The non grid style is gaining on the grid style in the poll.

To all the people who answered non-grid... if you have a pair of grids and would like to trade for a set of non-grids... let me know!

Just looking at this post made me wonder what would a set of non grids look like if they were totally red. You know shot with the candy so it was all red with no dividing lines?

I should post a pic of my non-grids... I have the black stipe thru the center and I smoked out the amber portion.
