Heritage Stripes?

This spring i will be repainting my camaro, ill be using the factory purple but will add something like a mica or prismatique to change it up just a little bit. i also want to do the silver heritage stripes and im curious how you guys think is the best way to go about it, i could buy a vinyl kit and use that as a template, but at $200+ id like to find a cheaper way, but i need to be able to get the stripes masked off and the other color spray'd in under 24 hours. so i need something semi-quick. any ideas?

You can get the heritage stripes off ebay for like 40 bucks, you used to anyways I'm not sure if there still there, try running a search for them. They don't have the pinstriping though that goes around them, just the stripes themselves.

Come down and measure Corey's 91Z28. His are perfect. He won best paint at Thirdgenfest last year.

Hmm, with measurements and pictures, i wonder how hard it will be to have someone with a plotter to make them for me?

thought about that, but wont work, i dont want a line where the stripes are, and if i clear over the vinyl, i wont be able to sand it down because it will end up hitting the graphic
