GM floor mats
Does anybody know where to get original GM floor mats for a '91 firebird? Ebay had a set a while back and now nothing, tried classic industries and a few others but came up short. I don't want any custom crap that does not fit and is junk. Thanks! Andy

There's no place to go to that I'm aware of that has them. However, a couple weeks ago somebody on Ebay had MULTIPLE sets for sale, and they may either have more, or will have more in the future. I'd say keep your eyes open there and be patient.

They are not original GM floormats, but many mnay places make cutom floor mats in the same shape/size/color for our cars.
do some searching around.
U can get them embroidered or not as well.
Names dont hit me right now, but there are a lot more than one place out there doing it.

Another option that I forgot to mention is 4th gen mats. They fit well, and are readily available from GM.

www.perrypam.com direct is cheaper than going through e-bay but still pricey. I don't remember ever seeing floormats from the web site though. Good luck

Thank you guys! I will keep looking, I am ticked off because I saw a tan G.M. pair on Ebay too about 2 months ago and said later, now it's gone! Andy

I have a set of NOS black, still in GM boxes.
I intend to keep these as long as I can!
As for the tan ones, good luck!
Seems all the TTA owners try to buy as many as they can!
Good luck,
George

Not GM but the set I got from YearOne look like my original, except better, the carpet is thicker and they have an embroidered Firebird logo. They are molded and set right in floor like they should.

I am going to look now there, thanks for the info. My MAIN concern is they are the same mold, not a cheap version that does not sit properly. Thanks! Andy

I've had good luck with Lloyd mats. They have a nice pile to them and fit the footwell properly. However, some people don't like the hook system they use to keep the mats in place. They screw into the carpet (no nubbies on the back). It doesn't hurt the carpet, but some would rather not anyway.
