i dont have any pics at the moment, but in my 91 t/a, the interior is ALL black, accept for the steering wheel which is a dark dark blue. not to mention, the center piece is all messed up. like the rubber shrank or something like that. just wondering if this was the case on anone elses car. thanks, mike

My interior is black, and my steering wheel is black;
however, I do have the airbag shrinkage issue. There used to be white parts that showed at the corners of the shrinking airbag, but I painted the white black and now it looks fine.

My interior is gray, and the steering wheel is gray. My air bag has never fit in the wheel right since the car was new, it looks slightly shrunken, but the wheel is gray under the bag so it does not look to bad. I plan on replacing my wheel soon anyway.

you think it would cost much to get the wheel replaced, you know, with the airbag and all?

I am going with a grant, because every new or mint airbag i have priced is $200 or more.

Two things.
1. It may be illegal (it is in MA) to remove an airbag from an airbag equipped car.
2. If you get in an accident odds are insurance won't pay if they notice it was removed.

In Massachusetts, if you remove an airbag from your car you go to jail, but if you drive your car into the water with a girlfriend inside, you go to congress?

something like this? Heat peels the corners back on these since tehy are wrapped so tight, mine peeled and kind acurled as it was a texas car originally, i luckily scored a airbag from a guy i welded some stuff for it has came off on the corner but that little tab that you see broke in my pic is still intact and it looks like i can heat it and stretch it back over the lip and use some 3m to keep it there, if not it still looks better than what i have now, and yes my dash is ****ed up, havent gotten around to that yet

well, i'll be here to help this season. im very good friends with both don, and his son (don as well) and am always up there to hang out and have a great time. what usually happens after that is we all cruise down to the 96th and federal sonic for their car show (which is usually in full swing by then) and see where the night takes us after that. youre more than welcome to join us if you'd like. normally i would be cruising my mootang up there, but seeing how its now sold, and im in this, this will be my ride for the next year or two.

by the way, my name is mike, so hopefully we can keep in touch until the season starts, that way we'll have an even BIGGER crew when we cruise uptown after his show.
so far it's about three foxbodies (not incuding if don wants to take his up) me (my new 91/ws6/350 trans am) and don jr. so im confident we will have a pretty big crew this season.

cool man, well, i'll hear from you later...

mike
