Questions about headliners and a Part name
Alright, my headliner is finally beyond repair...There are glue marks in the cloth and the headliner board is falling apart.
I am going to get a new headliner board and material from yearone. I am getting the 214 dollar job so I dont have to deal with messing up the glueing and creases in the material..
Here are my questions, does it just bolt up there or do I have to buy equipment to hold it up in the car. Also, the plastic piece behind the headliner on the roof is cracked; from the factory, someone tightened the screw too hard. What is the name of this interior panel and where can I get one new. Also does this panel come in the original colors or do I have to paint it?
Thank you for your time,
Tuned Port.

Check local auto reuphostrey shops. They are a better route to go and may be cheaper and still have a factory look. Had mine done for $140 and can't tell the difference from the original.

the headliner is held up by all the plastic panels surrounding it, and i believe 3 or 4 clips in the front, in order to remove them you have to take all the panels off and then slide the headliner towards the pass side of the car

actually there are two clips that hold it in the front near the middle and the screws for the visors also support it. In the back, it's held in by the plastic interior piece that you're saying is cracked. best bet is a salvage yard for that piece. A lot of them are cracked though, it's very common for that to happen to them for some reason.

No idea on the name of this piece of molding?? yeah the board on my headliner is finished as well.. I am going to get the whole piece finished and preglued from YearOne. I just want to find another one of those panels. I have the custom Flame Red Interior, so finding it at the Junkyard would be a problem.
