recovering dashboard with vinyl

i saw a picture of a thirdgen dashboard that had been recovered with vinyl on a part of it. im redoing my doorpanels vinyl and wouldnt mind doing something different to the dashboard as well. but for some reason i cant find it ive been searching for like an hour can anyone help me out?
