SS hood for firebird?

I have a quick question guys, is it possible to get a Camaro SS style hood for a 3rd gen firebird? I've looked everywhere and cant find one, im pretty sure they dont make them. Any ideas on how to get ahold of one?

Thanks guys

HALLELUJAH!! Thanks for the hood and the warm welcome . I plan on doin my 3rd gen up real nice, ill let u guys have a look when im done with the exterior. Hey man, is that cowl a little taller than the SS hood or is it just me? I cant decide between this or the WS-6 ram air hood..... but im seriously considering this one.

yeah that cowl is a little larger, four inches to be exact, I think the camaro version is like 2.5-3 inches. I really like the style of the raim air 1 hood the most wither that or a small cowl hood.

let us know with what you decide. I like the "super duty" on firebirds....but it is just a little to tall for my tastes.

You guys are so helpful man. Seriously, i give this message board two thumbs up, every other forum i ever goto i get nothin but negativity and no help whatsoever. Im really liking the RA1.... so i think thats what im gonna go with. in about a month my car will be done. I have a body kit on my firebird as well, and ive never seen it in my life. Seriously ive searched the net and i cant find it. It has like three lines down the doors. If you have ever seen it youll probably know what im talking about. If anyone knows what im talkin about or has pics post them plz!

Hey Sickness, did you have any problems getting your hood to line up properly with the middle part of your front end?

I've seen (I'm sure everyone has seen) tons of people who get these hoods (and other hoods too) and they don't line up properly.

I've read a bunch of different posts and several people talk about adjusting the bump stops but they also said that it didn't work. I have not bought my hood yet but I'd rather stay with the stock hood if it's not going to line up right.

There are four rubber screw down bump stops on the front of the hood - lower them. You can also raise/lower the hood latch.

Yes, more pics. I'm interested in this hood as well, but it seems just a bit to tall and seems to clash a bit with the roundness of the 91-92 gfx. Anyone got this installed on 85-90 gfx car?
