SIR reset light on .. after steering wheel swap
Installed a "new" steering wheel ... how do I get the SIR reset test light on the dash to well .. *lol* ... go away

Just live with it...(Mine has been on for over 2 years)
or have your prom reburned. It is looking for the airbag and its not there, so its assuming it has been deployed.

You cant reburn any chip to get the sir lamp to turn off. Gm designed the system so the light will light up enev when you remove all componets of the air bag system. The only effective way to get rid of the light is to remove the bulb or cut the wires to the bulb.
