82-90 front fenders w/91-92 GFX?
I understand that the only difference between 82-90 and 91-92 fenders is the holes for the ground effects? I haven't been able to find 91-92 replacement fenders on the net(maybe I'm just not lookin in the right places?) but could I drill new holes in 82-90 fenders to accomodate 91-92 gfx?

IMHO aftermarket fenders usually fit like crap, and if I were you i'd get my hands on a set of used OEM fenders and prep those.

I was faced with trying to locate a driver's fender for a 91 RS. I found it all over for about $60, but shipping was $100 from everyone. I eventually found a place local to me:

It was a used part for $80 and fit great. I'd check with either a salvage yard or these guys. A good, used part is probably better than a new aftermarket that you'll have to get painted anyway and fight with fitment.

I orderd a fender from JC whitney a while back, and I have to say it pretty darn well. I only had to bend it abit cuz it was tweaked from shipping, but it fit nearly perfect. So thats another option, plus it was only like $65 all together with shipping I think.

So how hard would it be to install 82-90 GFX on my sport coupe? I'd still have to drill holes right? Are the mounting screws self tapping or what? Just asking because I can get almost a full set of 82-90 GFX except for front bumper cover and nose piece for a little bit of nothing.
